WALKING · 6 MIN READ

Along the northern coast

Start early, follow the water beyond the last tram stop, and leave room for detours. Coastal paths change with the weather; a clear morning can turn quickly, so carry a light layer and check local notices before setting out.

The best stops are often simple: a sheltered bench, a working harbour, or a bakery just opening for the day. Take the quieter street back and notice how the town changes away from the waterfront.

Keeping a small travel notebook

A few useful details are enough: the name of a street, a turn worth remembering, the hour the light reached the square. Short notes make it easier to return to a place with fresh eyes.
